Webinar - Plastic waste hits Thais concern

26/02/2020, Online webinar

The actions of humans and the resulting impact on our environment has been an open debate for many years. Agree or not, this subject matter is of critical importance to understand so we can all play a role in moving the discussion forward. The question for us in Thailand is, what is the role we expect of ourselves, and of each other?

A recent study by Kantar confirms that the #1 environmental concern in Thailand is plastic waste. 18% of consumers name plastic waste as top priority, and this is higher than the Global average of 15% of consumers. In fact, 63% of Thais name plastic waste in their top 5 environmental concerns. 35% of Thai consumers expect manufacturers to take the lead on tackling plastic waste.

In this webinar taking place on 26 and 27 February 2020, our speakers will answer these key questions:

  • What’s happening Globally vs. Locally in Thailand?
  • What are consumers concerned about?
  • What actions are consumers taking and who is the most engaged group?
  • What do consumers want & need?
