We are seeing shoppers move from primary meats into other markets and are increasingly on the lookout for value, which is influencing the market too. Shoppers want quick and delicious meals, to win red meat must work within these parameters. Beef and lamb are still huge markets and are not seeing less trips, a decline in roasting occasions is a key issue in the market for both.
